BACKGROUND

CVS Caremark is the largest pharmacy provider in the United States (Fortune #7) with more than 177 billion in annual revenue. When CVS/pharmacy and Caremark merged an opportunity arose to create a global website in support of their vision, mission and values.


OPPORTUNITY

Build a consumer-facing website to support their vision, mission and values and provide up-to-date information to more than 4 million customers, employees and investors.


RESPONSE

I interviewed multiple stakeholders to identify user goals/needs, conducted an extensive competitor review and wireframed several key areas of the site. I created process flow diagrams for a highly interactive newsroom that sends email alerts and RSS feeds to subscribers. I also managed several local and offshore engineering teams and designed a product roadmap for the near and long term UX vision.


OUTCOME

Since its launch, the site has generated more than 7,000 email subscriptions and 22,000 user accounts.

Monthly page views have increased more than 50% in the first nine months.
